What do you do with the personal information that I provide during the registration process?
Initially, the information is used for access to the BidPal Silent Auction system. E-mails will also be used to keep you updated on the Miami Recognition Dinner. We do not provide e-mails to other vendors or marketing organizations.
Is the Fontainebleau providing rooms at a discounted rate?
The hotel is offering a limited number of rooms to Recognition Dinner guests at special discounted rates, starting at $279 per night. To take advantage of these special rates, you must make your reservation no later than September 17. You can book your room or online or call 800.548.8886 and ask for a room in the “National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Room Block”.
What is the attire for the event?
This is a formal event. Feel free to take a look at the pictures on the MRD website and you will see our guests in everything from tuxedos to pant suits and ball gowns.
Where should I park?
The Fontainebleau will offer valet service at a discounted rate. In addition, we will send an email to all guests a few days prior to the event with more specific information as well as parking alternatives. If you did not provide your e-mail during the registration process, please make sure you sign up for our updates to stay informed by “Joining the List”.
What if I have special dietary needs?
The Fontainebleau tries to accommodate special dietary needs. Please advise your Table Captain or contact Lisa Mercado at lmercado@theTaskForce.org.
